1Partially controlled or suppressed 2 Status provides suppression of annual grasses at appropriate rates (5 oz per acre or greater). Emerged grasses up to 3" tall will cease growing, but may remain green for weeks after application. Regrowth of grasses is limited once corn canopies cover the row middles. |
|
Mode of ActionStatus contains two active ingredients: an artificial auxin and a compound that causes the auxin to accumulate at the growing regions of the plant. The net effect is that the weeds undergo rapid abnormal growth and die. A third compound works to protect the corn plants themselves from any possible negative herbicide effects.
